TITLE INSURANCE

Our policies are provided by First American Title Insurance Company

REISSUE RATES

Re-issue rates apply to certain policies that can be "renewed".

Re-issue rates apply up to the amount of the previous policy only. If the new mortgage amount is greater than the amount of the previous policy, original rates will apply on the excess. Please call for re-issue rate.

LENDER’S POLICY

Minimum premium  -                   $100.00

Up to $100,000.00 -                    $ 3.00 per thousand

$101,000.00 - $500,000.00 -        $ 2.00 per thousand over $100,000.00

Simultaneous Issue of Lender Policy with Owner’s Policy -    $ 100.00 Flat fee

Simultaneous Owner Policy for Buyer and Seller available, minimum of  $150.00 per policy

OWNER’S POLICY

Minimum premium  -                     $100.00

Up to $100,000.00 -                      $ 4.00 per thousand

$101,000.00 - $500,000.00 -          $ 3.50 per thousand

RECORDING FEES

DEED - UP TO 5 PAGES                            $15.00 

DEED OF TRUST (single sided pages)

Includes RIDERS and ATTACHMENTS       $45.00

TAX STAMPS (for deed recording)               $ 4.40 per thousand (Seller pays)

October 1, 2005 tax stamp fees changed for some counties - we will notify you if your property is in one of the counties with higher tax stamp rates.

RELEASE                 $6.00

ASSIGNMENT         $6.00

 

Note: The clerk’s office imposes a recording penalty fee on double sided documents. The penalty is calculated based on total pages being recorded.
